Highlights of SaleCivil War Letter: dated Nov. 8, 1861 from a Confederate soldier to his wife. It deals with the aftermath of the Nov. 7, 1861, Battle of Belmont, fought near Columbus, KY. The finest private collection of WWII (and some WWI) patches I have ever seen. This scrapbook was created during WWII, when the owner was serving as WAAC. There are 433 patches, some quite unusual and rare. The photos are just a fraction of those in the book.
